Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

I need more lazy days, days without schedule or plans. Those are days where I can wander, which makes my creative side emerge. Kind of like a walk-about, if I am idle and just go where the flow takes me, I usually create something original and satisfying. But I usually worry too much, even when I’m idle, about plans and obligations around the corner. My best ideas come in the middle of the night when I wake up and can’t get back to sleep until I make some notes of the idea. Perhaps some day I will let myself be lazy, and get my ideas during the day.
