If adventure is taking photographs in a war zone, then I want security. If security is sixteen hours of television everyday, then I want adventure. If adventure is photographing deer in the local arboretum, maybe I’m in. If security is a safe neighborhood, that sounds good. If adventure is touring the country, sign me up. If security is laying in bed all day, I’m ready to start walking. I won’t jump out of a plane or dive off a bridge with a bungee cord. I won’t visit the wreck of the Titanic. But no risks are not the answer. My next adventure should be some book signing events, but it’s safe hiding in my office.
