What is lonelier than a page on humor that is empty? I promise; I will put something up soon.
I won’t be posting too many comments on politics on this page. There’s no humor in present day political discourse, unless one regards the whole thing as a big joke. I’ve decided that our politics needs more comedians running for office. I’m dating myself, but I remember when Pat Paulsen ran for President. (1968, et al.) He added color and lent credence to the idea not to take ourselves too seriously.
Is this page empty because I have no humor? I hope not. Right now, it’s hard to find humor in the Midwest in the winter. It’s gray all the time. Even when we don’t have the frigid temperatures, it’s usually damp and cold. (That’s what they say about typical London. At least, in the Midwest, the spring comes.) It snowed last night. The white on the ground softens the Midwest malaise. Maybe the jokes will flow?
