My music interests have changed over the years. I’m dating myself but I remember when the Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan show. At the time, I thought they were silly, with their funny hair. But by the time I was a teenager, and they had broken up, I discovered them and became a fan. By the time I was in college, my long hair matched my changing taste in music. My hair was three times as long as those Ed Sullivan Beatles. I damaged my ears not taking precautions when I went to loud rock concerts. After college, I moved into Jazz and softer sounds. Now, I listen to the Spa Channel on Sirius XM. My wife won’t listen to it, because it puts her to sleep. I like the ethereal and esoteric moods of the music. But an occasional Beatle song is still good and gives me chills.
