Second Edition

I’ve been working on a second edition on Book One of my Escape From Desolation series. The manuscript is with the publisher and I hope to have it out by the end of June. The first edition had so many errors, that I eventually became embarrassed to promote it. It was hard at first to make the plunge to redo the book, but once I decided to accept the costs, I’ve been a lot happier. I’m excited about this version and will have a much easier time promoting and marketing it, so the redo was worth it, because I have more confidence in the quality. I learned as a fine artist, that mistakes aren’t written in stone and sometimes lead to new and better work. During my editing of the second edition, while I corrected errors, I found areas to refine. It’s the same story, but better said. I’m afraid to look at Book Two, and find similar problems. I will save that trauma for a future date, maybe when Book One is back on track.
