My mother told me in her later days, that mentally she felt the same as when she was twenty. She never felt old. All the way to her last days, it was only her body that failed. She was an avid reader, and kept at it all the way to a week before she passed away. Even when she was very sick, she didn’t think about dying. She took each day as it came and always had hope for the future. She’s an inspiration for me.
