When I was young, I got tired of everybody telling me I looked so childlike, because there was implication that came with it: that I was immature and not to be taken seriously. I was digging through some old pictures me. I found a picture of some friends taken at an alumni college gathering. My wife said, “My God, you look like a little boy.” (She can get away with it.) When I was a corporate lawyer, clients were stunned to meet me in person, because they imagined a much older person, based on my phone presence. But now, it’s not so bad looking youthful. Both of my younger sisters have long gone gray, but I still have color in my hair. I know I look younger than my age, which now, is a blessing. It’s funny how time changes perspectives.
