The daily prompt just asked about risk taking yesterday, and I just wrote about the risk I took with publishing. Another aspect of deciding to publish was how did it work out to take the risk. The jury is still out, because I’m still learning about marketing. No matter what happens as far as sales, I would say the the risk worked out well, because I’m in a better place now with the unknown of publishing behind me. There is a big difference between imagining a book in print and one actually being in print. There is no more wondering if I could do it, because I did it. I literally folded space and found myself in a new place. With a book in print, I have a new set of challenges. My world had changed. I would say taking the risk was worth it.
