I went to an Improvisational Theater last night. We know one of the performers. I like all live performance. I like being part of a creative space that is unique and only exists for a moment in time. Whether it’s scripted or improvisation, the performance becomes a mini-world. I didn’t follow all of the skits or the jokes, but I respect anybody that can go before a live audience and take risks of presenting themselves. Thinking on the fly is particularly hard. They did get me to laugh and my wife would say that’s an accomplishment. I’ve thought about trying it myself (this place has classes) but I haven’t gotten up the nerve. Someday maybe.
