I have reached the age where some foods are wrong to eat. I can’t blindly consume as I please without consequences. The spicey foods I used to love, give me indigestion. Even modest portions of cheese plugs me up. Greasy pizza (once my favorite) does the opposite. Coffee after noon keeps me awake all night. I have not reached the age of bliss, where I can eat like a kid again, because I’m too old for it to make a difference. When (if) I reach 100, I expect I will not care what rises my cholesterol or what has too much sugar. For now, I still enjoy chips, but have an open mind about carrots.
