I like New Year’s because it’s a demarcation. Although moving from 2023 to 2024 is simply a move from Sunday to Monday, like any week, it feels like a new chapter, a chance to start again. My blog is like a mission, which is to be honest about my thoughts and reactions to the world around me, because if anyone is listening, someone may find commonality between my experience and theirs. We endure and we grow by knowing we are not alone. If I have missed the mark with my words, a new year is a chance to start over. So I’m glad 2024 starts tomorrow and I have a clean slate. Happy New Year!
