The daily prompt asks about my three pet peeves. I could be serious, but I prefer to walk on the silly side today. Here I go. My first pet peeve, McDonalds super sizing everything. It was a bigger thing a while ago, but come on, I struggle with my weight and I don’t need someone pushing big portions on me. I order the small for a reason. That’s another thing (a sub-peeve) I order a small drink, and the glass is the size as a large drink in the old days: super-sizing-secret-agenda! My second peeve is trees. They take so long to drop leaves in the Fall. I am continuously scooping up leaves. Experts say I have to remove the leaves to preserve the lawn, so I’m stuck. I used to wait until they were all down, but that was in my younger days when I was in better shape or my kids loved the huge leaf pile to jump in. There is a tree in my neighbor’s yard that waits until all the other trees are done before it drops its leaves: evil tree. And what’s with those oak trees that don’t drop their leaves until Spring: insidious. My third peeve? Christmas in July, that’s marketing gone too far!
