When I was a kid, December was my favorite month, for Christmas of course. Plus, I liked playing in the snow. Now, in my retirement, I still like the Christmas season, but detest the cold weather and days of less daylight. I’m glad I have a snow blower … and electricity. May is my favorite month now. Everything is in full green, flowers are blooming, the trees are alive again, and the days are longer. The air temperature is warm, but not hot (most of the time). Of course, there’s lawn mowing, so no month is perfect in the American Midwest. On second thought, hiring someone to mow my lawn might make May perfect.
