The daily prompt suggests inventing a holiday. It would be Universal Peace Day, a global event. Radio, Television and all devices are turned off. The internet and telephones services remain active only to serve medical emergencies. No one works, except medical professionals and first responders, but only an on call basis. Transportation is shut down, except that necessary to support those on call. Harsh words, arguing, criticism of others and anything political are forbidden. People are encouraged to walk the streets and meet neighbors. I can hear my father now. He would be laughing, because he always called me an unrealistic dreamer. Thank goodness John Lennon told me I’m not the only one.
