I wouldn’t pay much to go to the moon, because I’ve already been there. At least, that’s what I told my friends when I was a kid. It was July 20, 1969. We went to my great aunt’s house to watch the moon landing on her little black and white television. I had my camera (with real film) and took pictures of the television image. I took many pictures hoping I could capture only the image and nothing of the television. It was before the digital age and instant results. I had to wait for my film to be developed. As luck would have it, I had a couple of pictures which had nothing but the landing in view. I showed the pictures to my friends as proof I was there. I got a kick out of them trying to explain how I did it (other than actually being there.) Seriously, I would pay a stiff amount to actually go to the moon, but only after many people did it and proved it was safe, because the real thing is more dangerous than taking pictures of the television.
