Just before dawn, when the birds start singing, the day is the most bright. It’s best being away from the city. The early morning birdsong is deafening. Nature is in full swing and the worries of society seem far away. I like to listen for the first peep, that brave little bird that breaks the silence of the night and signals the anticipation of the new day. It’s a hopeful engagement. Nature is hopeful.
