My comfort food is chocolate. When I was a kid my mother always made a birthday cake with chocolate frosting. On Halloween, Hershey’s chocolate bars were always my favorite. We always had a bottle of chocolate syrup in the house, to put on ice cream, root beer floats and in milk. M&Ms are my greatest sin, little bites of chocolate. It hardly seems an indulgence when they are so small, but after a hundred, my waist pays the price. My wife was never a fan of getting a box of chocolates, but she gets them anyway; I eat most of them. How can the worst thing for me be so good? While I ponder the question, I will go get a hand full of M&Ms.
