I’ve had both cats and dogs. It’s hard to pick. My first dog was Otto, a dachshund, who didn’t like salesmen. He bit one in the leg. My sisters tried to get me to like cats. When one was a kitten he climbed all over my face, keeping me up all night. We got our kids cats. One takes my chair. The other scratches the wall to wake us up to give her a snack. But generally, dogs are friendly and personable; cats can be cuddly. Right now we have both and I can’t say which is better.
