Since I add to my blog in the mornings, I don’t have a list for notable things that happened today, not yet; and I don’t plan on changing my writing regimen to fit a daily prompt. So … what happened yesterday? Since I am a partial hermit … not much. It’s hard to write about events when my days are quiet. It’s a habit I developed as a kid, keeping to myself, watching television, developing ideas or forming impressions from what I saw, rather than what I encountered in a social world. Fortunately, I grew up in the golden age of television which gave me great content. Yesterday, I watched Band of Brothers. It was on because yesterday was the anniversary of D-Day. It’s nice to be reminded of the sacrifices people made to make the world better and safer. Otherwise, my day continued on, my mind always running, searching for some gestalt that I can share with the world. Grand, for sure, but again it started when I was a kid. If after all these decades I haven’t come up with something perhaps it’s time to join a club.
