Silly Question

Daily writing prompt
What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

By definition, luxuries are things I can live without. “Living without” means I do not require those things to survive. I don’t need luxuries. Money is not a luxury. A ton of money is. Television is a luxury, and I would be happy if someone took my TV away. Once I was a skier. I liked it so much, I thought I couldn’t live without it. That’s a luxury, but I’m too old to ski anymore, and the lift prices have gotten ridiculous. Some may think that doing art is a luxury, but I can’t live without creating something everyday. It’s in my bones. It’s not a luxury, but a way of life. Silence is a luxury. I realize this when the neighbors lawn guys are running their exceedingly noisy leaf blowers. Many people may regard what I call comforts as luxuries, peaceful streets, my own home, good health and lots of books. I need those things, and will count my blessings.
