My journey has been a process of lightening up, building my self-esteem and developing the confidence to take risks to achieve my goals. The result has been a good life. In my blog I have mentioned that humor is my super power. My writing is strongest, most concise, most focused and firmly directed when I am looking at the lighter side. I have a story, about a middle-aged space marine, (Sludge Dragoon … one of my pages) that is mostly silly and tongue in cheek. I haven’t published it but I have a blast writing it. If I never publish it, I will still feel rewarded with the project. Sludge started out as a dark and morose story about a trapped marine facing death. I’m not sure how the switch occurred when my humor took over, but I’m glad it did. Lightening up gives me hope and relaxes me. I’m glad I found my inner space marine.
