Because my father struggled with finding work he was passionate about, it has been essential for me to know my path. I spent a ton of time reading books and taking tests to identify what jobs were best for me. I came across something that proposed the true answer is always obvious, evident in one’s own actions and history. The story was about a man in search of his passions who kept a machine he invented under his bed. It was an endeavor that brought his energy and life. He slept over it every night. For me, I have a collection of my artwork. Paintings on the walls, sculptures on every shelf, writings and sketch books on the books shelves, a garage full of studies. I have run out of room to store my art production. I have probably created 5000+ works, and for a long time I struggled to define my passion and calling in life. My personal art collection makes that self-evident. By the way, I made a four foot cement penguin that sits outside by my front door. There is no mistaking my house in the neighborhood.
