Laughing

My wife tells me I don’t laugh enough. When we hear something funny, she laughs out loud, but often I am silent. She doesn’t hear the smile on my face. I tell her I’m laughing on the inside. I do enjoy a good laugh. Peter Sellers made me laugh out loud, in the theater. Politicians can make me laugh out loud, but for them, that’s not their aim, part of the reason I laugh. My own silliness makes me burst out sometimes. Learning not to take myself seriously has given me peace of mind.
