I always vote. I like having my say. Once in a while, I hear someone lament, “my vote doesn’t matter, it’s only one vote.” It’s a cynical view for sure. Voting is not about everyone else. It’s about each person. Voting is a personal statement of worth. I think enough of myself to exercise my voice and vote. We all have a right to speak out and to believe each of our voices counts. // I matter. I vote.
