When someone is absolutely certain they know the answer, I get nervous. Politicians tell us that they can solve problems, so vote for them. Their over confidence and dismissal of the challenges makes me nervous. When doctors tell me not to worry about my aches and pains, it’s just old age, I get nervous. When the furnace repairman says the horrible squeak in the blower is nothing to worry about, I get nervous. When my financial advisor tells me he is not sure how the economy is moving, I feel a lot better. At least, he’s not selling me a load of bull.
