I grew up in the Golden Age of Television so I am a TV junky. A good show gets mind off things and distracts me from my own thoughts. But I don’t watch the news. It’s depressing and every outlet is upset about something. It’s ironic, as much as Cable News has different views, they all agree that somebody somewhere is wrecking everything. They have one great commonality, depressing their audience. I watch older programming. Even though there has always been problems, there was an optimism in the old stuff that is harder to find in new programs.
