Most of the time I do not like discussing politics publicly. Too many people have become aggressive with their opinions. Agree or die! Some politicians delight in exploiting the current landscape, which exacerbates the discourse. There are plenty of media choices to get the answers we have preordained for ourselves. The common thread is that our politics is depressing and the media blasts the airwaves with tales that keeps them in business, but sends the public into a tailspin. Often, I want to tune out completely for my own sanity. I am an ostrich with my head in the sand. If everyone was an ostrich like me, nothing would change or get done, but it would be quieter.
