When I was five? … I can barely remember being five, of course, for me, that was a long long time ago in a suburb far far away. When I was five, we moved into a new house, so I have memories of that time, but thinking about an empty new house and waiting for the movers to come, doesn’t help me think about my career ambitions. As an aside, it’s ironic to think of my first memories of the house where I predominantly grew up, because my last memory of it is an empty place. When my mother passed away and we divested of the house, I was the last one in the family to see it, an empty place, devoid of all the living that had gone on for 53 years … sad. Anyway, the first time I thought about what I wanted to be was more like when I was in high school and wanted to be a rock and roll guitarist … didn’t make it, but I can play the guitar, enough to give me personal enjoyment.
