What activities do you lose yourself in?

Often I lose myself in my writing. Some days I have so many ideas, I can’t write fast enough to put them to paper. Sometimes I wake in the night and stories are in my head. I can’t get back to sleep until I write them down. When I paint, I lose track of time. Hours seems like minutes. When my kids were little I would build snow sculptures for them. (My son loved my 8 foot T-Rex). My wife would worry that I was out so many hours. I told her I didn’t realize how much time went by. She is happy that the cold is too much for me now, and don’t play with snow anymore.
