Irony

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

For a long time I regarded law school as my greatest failure, complaining that I was talked into it. Ironically, it was the skills I gained during that time that gave me confidence to write. My creative journey was improved because I received my law degree. Failure comes from the myth that all decisions must be perfect or their outcomes are foreseeable at the beginning. Real life is a bumpy road and what matters is to keep moving.
